“To see the world, things dangerous to come to,
To see behind walls, to draw closer,
To find each other and to feel.
That is the purpose of LIFE”
(LIFE’s motto)
The secret life of Walter Mitty is one of the greatest films about life i have seen. The simply-contrived plot is built by Walter Mitty, who has a very unique character trait. The story begins when the magazine company the much imagining man is working on is going an online magazine instead of printed magazine. In last days of the company transition, a new director handling the case gathers all the workers and announces a big firing to them following the transformation.
But there's something left to be done by Walter Mitty, the manager of negative asset, before his firing day comes. That's to find out a photo given by LIFE photographer for the LIFE magazine cover at its last in printed edition.
However, in the morning, the LIFE photographer Sean O'Connell sends a gift to Walter Mitty, who takes in hand of it for 16 years. The gift contains a wallet where his initial name is overprinted and a little note that expresses Sean’s sincere thankfulness for the 42-year-old man’s very long serving and that lets him know the place where the photo is. Sean O'Connell says that the photo is his best of his entire journey and the quintessence of LIFE. The photo meant is number 25, yet Walter Mitty does not find it in the frame Sean has sent. He feels a bit bewildered; he has to bring it to publish.
He tries to figure out how to contact Sean, afterwards. He knows it will not be easy inasmuch as Sean O'Connell has no phone to call and he's always journeying somewhere far away to take spectacular pictures of parts of the world.
In his attempt to get in touch with Sean, someone special changes his stagnant life to be far out.
