'New Bradley Cooper' Appears on American Sniper!

Have you already seen 'American Sniper'? If not yet, be ready for being given a turn by Bradley Cooper's catalysmic look in there!

Without seeing the movie poster, no one will notice the actor playing Chris Kyle at his once-over in the Clint Eastwood-directed film. The biograpical war drama film centers around the life history of a U.S. Navy SEAL sniper Chris Kyle, who, according to the book ‘American Sniper: The Autobiography of the Most Lethal Sniper in U.S. Military History’, turns into the deadliest marksman in U.S. military history with officially confirmed 160 out of 225 kills in four tours in Iraq.

Bradley Cooper was casted to depict the personage in great detail, including in the personal appearance. As we know, it's a very usual thing in filming. And for sure, it does not matter to best-known Hollywood to make a marked change of someone for role.

Like any other professional actors and actresses of Hollywood or elsewhere, Bradley Cooper had to undergo a change in order to look the same as the one he would portray. Since an army is identical to burly muscled body and Chris Kyle was, he was to gain 40 pounds to prepare for sniper Chris Kyle role. To have it, the 40-years-old told fitness magazine Men’s Health that he, under the guidance of trainer Jason Walsh, did workouts and the consuming of a whopping force-fed 6,000 calories a day. “If it's pizza and cake, that's one thing. Putting 6,000 calories a day in your body gets old quick,” Cooper said.

After taking those with the help of Plazma intake, Cooper got to bulk up his body and we can see his total physical transformation on chest, arms, neck, and even face. Accordingly, the newly beefy, bearded Bradley was almost unrecognizable.

The Oscar-nominated actor put forth an all-out effort for late Navy SEAL Chris Kyle on the ground that he would like to show some respect to him. Bradley’s friend and co-star in the film, Eric Close, told E! News, “He put on like 40 pounds. He’s really been working hard. He looks great. He’s really taken on this character. He really takes this story personally and wants to do an honorable job for Chris’ memory and for his family.”

However, because of the acting for the real-life adaptation film being over and the next play to The Elephant Man, Cooper needs to come back to normal at his regular 185 lbs. But he felt merry while playing the figure and enjoyed the temporary body change. "I knew this was going to be the way in to playing Chris, and it felt amazing. It’s also nice to know it’s possible to do it naturally, in that amount of time," said Cooper to Men’s Health.

Compared to the other films in which Cooper has played, e.g. American Hustle, Guardians of the Galaxy, Silver Linings Playbook, Limitless, etc., It has been said that American Sniper shows off the most remarkable change of him.

In addition to the 2014 Chris Kyle-inspired drama film, Bradley Cooper played with Sienna Miller as his wife Taya as well as with Luke Grimes, Kyle Gallner, Sam Jaeger, Jake McDorman, and Cory Hardrict in supporting roles.

American Sniper on its worldwide debut release only from January 16 through 19 earned an enormous amount of $110 million. As of May 3, 2015, it grossed $542,2 million against a $58 million budget, making it the highest-grossing war film of all time (breaking Private Saving Ryan's record). Besides, it has accepted and won various awards and nominations, including for Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Director, and Best Sound Mixing.
